This was our first visit after a long time wanting to try it. It definitely did not disappoint in the way taste or price. We started with an appetizer being none other than fried green tomatoes. They had a very good texture and crunch served with a type of horseradish sauce. We moved on to the side salad which I actually shared and it was pretty good. I ordered for my entree the country fried chicken which was definitely big enough for almost any appetite, red skin mashed potatoes and fried okra. All was great, the wife had Hawaiian Steak, daughter had mushrooms and chicken. They brought at least half of their food home. Give it a try, I believe you'll like it. Oh! We finished off sharing a hot lava cake!

Their food is amazing! I haven't tried anything bad from here. The staff is so friendly and helpful if you're having a hard time deciding.

You wont leave hungry! Shrimp and grits were suggested and absolutely amazing. Fish and chips was plentiful. Definitely a return trip if in the area. Brick our server was awesome and didn't steer us wrong. Very helpful and attentive.

The wife and I have been there numerous times. Every time we've been there the waitresses were great and the food was absolutely wonderful. btw you won't leave hungry either, the portions are big.

Philly steak lasagna. All that needs to said. Absolutely amazing dish. The garlic cheddar biscuit things they give you, I could just sit there and eat them all day. 1/2 pound burger was huge, cooked to order, and amazing. Steak fries are very good. Very nice staff, fast service. I cannot say enough good about this place. Hard to believe we have never been there before but we will definitely be back! Cannot wait to try everything else on the menu.

I now have my favorite place to eat at.. The service was excellent.. It was crowded when we arrived but we got a seat and got our food fast.. The food was amazing!!!💕💕💕💕

Chicken and dumplings, collard greens, baked squash, biscuits, and strawberry shortcake. I was in heaven! Everything is always delicious here, and the service is always attentive and friendly. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Meatloaf with squah and red skin potatoes, mac n cheese and fried corn on the cob, Green tomatoes Alfredo with Shrimp. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream didnt make it for the picture. First time here, Very Kind and Friendly employees, GREAT food( you get your moneys worth), and comfortable atmosphere!!

Great hole in the wall family restaurant; with great country style home cooked meals. It's very crowded and once you try the fried green matters you see why. The staff is always friendly. The food portions are large so come hungry and try not to fill up on the free biscuits

LOVED THE FRIED GREEN TOMATOES.. only thing was off for my taste was the sauce on my fried green tomatoe BLT.. think it was Cajun mayo or something. Didn't hit right with the onion roll .. but the service was awesome. Food was great that was served to us.. waitress was very pleasant. So hopefully we tipped enough.. we definitely will return on next lake visit. Or maybe before we leave.

The shrimp was amazing and the sweet potato fries were very good, too. I do not recommend the green beans. They are unbroken with strings and stems still attached and have some kind of sweet glaze to them. No one in my party like them. Try the fried macaroni and cheese balls as an appetizer. Also, try the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Both are excellent. The staff is very friendly. We drove an hour and 15 minutes to try this place and it was worth it. I strongly suggest making reservations.

Excellent service! Great food with unexpected twists. You'll get huge garlic butter biscuits. Make sure you order the green tomatoes. They are thick and have a firm texture, not soggy.

Great southern style foods. Excellent service. Clean casual dinning atmosphere. I personally loved the fried pickles appetizer. They have wonderful desserts; so save room.

I am so lucky to find this place. I had the catfish, perfect. The fried green maters, perfect. Fried okra was phenomenal and as was every single thing I had there. A must stop if your within a 24 hour drive lol

A hidden gem. Food was awesome and our waitress (Jennifer) was just as awesome. I haven't had pork chops like that since i was a kid. Wife had the chicken sandwich and was extremely happy with it. Will be regulars, no doubt.

I had the Country Fried Steak, was really good with white gravy, red mashed potatoes, fried green tomatoes. The only thing was........I like my tomatoes a little more done but they were still good! My husband had catfish, he loved it. Will definitely go again!

This is really good food at very reasonable rates. Great country kitchen atmosphere. My favorite is there chicken parmesan. And don't miss the green tomatoes as an appetizer.

This is our favorite place to eat. Best fried green tomatoes on the planet. The place is clean, efficient and high on hospitality. Great family environment with friendly servers. The food is consistent every time we go and we are never disappointed when we eat here. I would highly recommend eating here, you won't be sorry.

We love going to Green Tomato. Food is excellent and great selection. Service staff is always on top of their game. Never had a bad experience. It is a popular place because it is so good. So if you go at peak times expect to be waiting a little bit for a table.

Price's are little high but the portions are good for a family of 4 I pay $60 plus tip but so full you can barely walk and taste amazing I'll still take my family and friends there because the great southern food....

If you want some really good down home food this is where you need to eat. Side note the pork chops were absolutely mouthwatering 👌

Good food. Clean restaurant overall. If I had to say anything bad about restaurant it would be parking lot too small and needs a major repaving/repair project. But don't let that stop you from trying out this establishment

I love the food and atmosphere here. The owner often walks around to speak with guests. Quick to fix mistakes. The maccoronni cheese balls are being amazing. The place is almost always packed for dinner and it's for good reason.

The fried green tomatoes can be a meal by themselves! After I couldn't finish everything I found out that you can get them as a side too. The biscuit sauce is really good on the tomatoes. You get a lot of food. Come hungry or be prepared to take some with you. Everything was very, very tasty.

Was here while visiting from Maryland and the food was excellent. The pot roast and the creamy crab soup was amazing. Our family loved everything. And the staff was super friendly.
